Kaase Aondoakaaa: Group urges former AGF to join 2027 Benue Guber race, states reasons

The Kwande Development Forum has called on a former Minister for Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Mike Kaase Aondoakaaa, SAN to join the 2027 governorship race, saying that only his experience and expertise can rescue the state.

Speaking In Press Statement signed by its President, Chief Solomon Tersoo, PhD, The Kwande Development Forum which made this call on Aondoakaaa who had also served meritoriously as a Minister For Special Duties under Former president Goodluck Jonathan said that he has the expertise to make Benue State great again.

The group noted that Chief Kaase Aondoakaaa’s experience as a Fellow of the International Dispute Resolution Institute in London, United Kingdom (UK) will be required to resolve the issue of insecurity which has dragged Benue State backward.

“If he is elected as governor in 2027, the former Attorney General of the Federation will use his experience as a Fellow of a leading Arbitration, Conciliation, and Mediation Institute affiliated with the United Nations to put the continued killings and insecurity in Benue state under check” the group said in the statement.

The group also noted that Chief Kaase Aondoakaaa being a son of the Kwande clan who also has the backing of the Jemgbagh clan is an added advantage for him over other aspirants if he yields to the calls of his people to join the race.

According to the group, Aondoakaaa was able to use his office as Attorney General of the Federation to secure federal employments and national connections for thousands of Benue people.

The statement reads in parts: “A lot of us benefitted from his benevolence as he was able to seek employments for thousands of us as Attorney General of the Federation. He also pull strings for many Benue Youths and women when he was Minister for Special Duties.

“His scholarship scheme for indigent students while he was Attorney General of the Federation was unprecedented at that time as he was able to touch the lives of Benue people. He made sure that many people who would have been pushing wheel barrows today because of lack of funds returned back to school on his account”

The Kwande Development Forum pressed further that as a mechanized farmer, Chief Mike Kaase Aondoakaaa used his rice farm to create massive employment for thousands of Benue people who earn more than what the state government pays government workers.

The group said that Benue state needs someone like Chief Aondoakaaa who has used all his life both as a private citizen and public office holder to facilitate help, scholarship and employment for thousands of people of Benue and beyond as governor in 2027.

The group begged Chief Aondoakaaa to yield to the calls of the people of the State and join the 2027 Governorship race.
