Nigerian Concord Newspaper can authoritatively report moves by the deputy speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Lami Danladi Ogenyi to attack Mr. Moses Ternenge, a close ally of Governor Hyacinth Alia on the Social Media through a team of five media influencers she has raised.

According to Danladi Ogenyi while raising the attack team, Ternenge’s offence to her is his blunt refusal to accept her (Lami’s) candidate who is the deputy clerk of the House of Assembly to be appointed as the substantive clerk after the former clerk was redeployed to the State Assembly Commission by Speaker Berger Alfred.

A top source within the House of Assembly told this newspaper that: “Lami claimed to have approached Mr. Moses Ternenge to help her appoint the deputy clerk as the substantive clerk after he had served as an acting clerk but the governor’s ally immediately turned the proposal down, saying that a new clerk had been appointed.

“Perhaps Ternenge being an experienced politician knew that the deputy speaker was planning to use her Idoma brother whom she wanted to be appointed as a substantive clerk to gain more powers to be able to plot the removal of the current speaker and also use him to attack the administration of Father Hyacinth Alia.

“There have been reports that the deputy speaker has been working with the camp of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume to remove the new speaker in order to pave way for the former governor’s person, Mrs Becky Orpine to be speaker of the State House of Assembly.

“The whole plan was to get Lami’s candidate to be the Clerk in order to have a big chance to remove Berger as speaker, appoint their own person who is Becky Orpine as speaker and then plot Father Hyacinth Alia’s impeachment. This is exactly what Mr. Moses Ternenge May have sensed that made him to reject Lami’s proposal”

Investigation by this newspaper showed that Lami Danladi who was recently accused of non performance as a State legislator, massive frauds and disruption of public peace met with the five Social Media influencers led by one Johnson Agada, a younger brother of a former chairman of the State chapter of All Progressive Congress, Mr. Austin Agada.

Each of the five members of the deputy speaker’s media team that was raised during the week to attack Moses Ternenge by blackmailing him serially on the Social Media has been placed on a N25,000 weekly data allowance. They were also given five new android phones after a meeting they held with the deputy speaker at her Makurdi residence.

While Lami appointed Johnson Agada as the leader of the attack team, she equally appointed one Samson Otokpa as the supervisor who will be relaying whatever that is posted against Moses Ternenge to her.

At the meeting with the media influencers, the deputy speaker reportedly mandated them to attack Moses Ternenge massively in the media as a way to demarket him before the Benue State Government.

Recall that the same Lami Danladi was recently tagged a failure by the youths in her State Constituency in Ado who said that she has no single projects to her name since she became their representative over two years ago is now paying social media influencers whom she has commissioned to attack Moses Ternenge a whooping N125,000 weekly.
