BIPC to begin Orange/Tomato juice production, to revive Wanune tomatoes factory

Benue Investment Property Company is planning to revive the abandoned Tomatoes processing factory located at wannune in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State.

This was recently disclosed by The Group Managing Director of the company, Dr Raymond Asemakaha during a press briefing at NUJ House Makurdi.

Dr Asemakaha said modalities have also been put in place to ensure that the fruit juice factory located at industrial layout Makurdi begins production on 1st October 2025 having completed the installation of equipments.

This will further create employment for about 400 youths adding to the direct and indirect jobs earlier created with the establishment of the Bread factory, Beer factory, nail factory, packaged water factory, fertilizer plant, polythene bag factories as well as the electric car hire services and motorcycle hire-purchase.

Dr. Asemakaha noted that he met BIPC in a distressed state when he took over the mantle of leadership. “The company was grappling with 5 months unpaid salaries” . Using his wealth of experience in the financial sector, the company has been transformed to a merger company contributing to the increased revenue of the state.
