In a bid to equip constituents with the skills and resources necessary to succeed in today’s digital age, the lawmaker representing Ado/ Okpokwu/ Ogbadibo Federal Constituency Chief Philip Agbese has empowered 49 more constituents through the Batch C ICT training programme.
This initiative, which is part of the lawmaker’s ongoing efforts to drive growth and development in his constituency, provided participants with comprehensive training in digital technology. Each participant also received a laptop and a financial boost to kick-start their entrepreneurial endeavors.
With this latest batch, the total number of constituents empowered through the programme has risen to 169.
Meanwhile, the Enone Servant announced that another batch is coming soon, with more interventions, projects, and empowerments in the pipeline.
“Our goal remains to create a ripple effect of positive change that touches every life in our constituency,” Hon. Agbese said.
“We are committed to providing our people with the requisite skills and resources necessary to succeed in today’s digital age.
“I thank our constituents for their patience and cooperation, and I urge them to remain diligent and committed to their goals.”
Hon. Agbese emphasised the importance of ICT skills in today’s economy. “In today’s digital age, ICT skills are no longer a luxury, but a necessity.
“We must equip our constituents with the skills and knowledge necessary to compete in the global economy.”
He also reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises. “We made a promise to transform Enone into the Silicon Valley of Benue State, and we are working tirelessly to fulfill that promise.
“We will continue to invest in initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and prosperity for our people.”
The ICT training programme is one of several initiatives launched by Hon. Agbese to drive progress and create opportunities for his constituents.
Other initiatives include vocational training, entrepreneurship development, and infrastructure development projects.
