The Benue state chapter of All Progressive Congress, APC has condemned media attacks against the state governor, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia by stakeholders who feel threatened with his achievements.
The party said this after an Executive Council meeting at the party secretariat in Makurdi this morning.
The party applauded the visionary leadership of the Governor of Benue State, Very Reverend Father Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for his proactive approach in forging impactful partnerships.
“Leading a delegation of senior cabinet members to Shanghai, China, Governor Alia has secured a strategic alliance with ZBHA Group, a global industry leader, marking a bold step toward Benue State’s socio-economic transformation” the Benue APC said.
According to the party this landmark partnership underscores the Governor’s dedication to positioning Benue among Nigeria’s top GDP contributors. “Through the collaborative efforts with ZBHA Group, Benue stands poised to witness a surge in job creation, the establishment of manufacturing hubs, and the growth of production and processing facilities. These initiatives will undoubtedly elevate our state’s internally generated revenue (IGR) and bring significant benefits to the lives of our people” the party noted.
The APC called upon all citizens of Benue to rally behind our Governor and lift him in fervent prayer as he drives this transformative vision. Indeed, Benue State is on a path to greatness, and with continued support, we are closer than ever to realizing our collective aspirations.
The party also stated that those that are attacking the governor despite his achievements are just playing politics with the greatness of Benue state, noting that they should rather throw their weight behind the governor so he can deliver more dividends of democracy.
“May God’s wisdom, protection, and blessings remain upon His Excellency as he works tirelessly to secure the best for Benue State. The Benue State APC Unity Caretaker Committee, along with the entire APC family, extends heartfelt congratulations to Governor Alia and the people of Benue on this remarkable achievement” the party said.
Speaking with journalists after the meeting, the Chairman of the Benue State Unity Caretaker Committee, Chief Benjamin Omale said the report was a true position of the party as regards the excellent performance of Governor Alia.
Omale pressed further that he believes that no amount of media propaganda will distract the governor from discharging his duties as governor of Benue state.
