A former Minister for Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Mike Kaase Aondoakaa, SAN today congratulated the Paramount Ruler of the Tiv nation, Professor James Ayatse on the 2025 Tiv Day celebration.
Chief Aondoakaa who spoke in his congratulatory statement, a copy which was obtained by this newspaper stated that this annual gathering is more than just a celebration. He stressed that it is a profound reaffirmation of Tiv rich cultural heritage, shared identity, and enduring spirit as a people.
The former AGF noted that the celebration is a moment for all sons and daughters of Tiv, both at home and in the diaspora, to reflect on their journey and look towards a collective future.

I, on behalf of myself, family and associates extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt goodwill to His Royal Majesty, the Tor Tiv, Professor James Iorzua Ayatse, the Tiv Traditional Council, and the entire Mzough u Tiv worldwide, as we commemorate this year’s Tiv Day celebration.
This annual gathering is more than just a celebration; it is a profound reaffirmation of our rich cultural heritage, shared identity, and enduring spirit as a people.
